Marienplatz and Cathedral of Our Dear Lady:
Dive into the heart of the city: Munich’s central square is marked by the Marian Column, the New City Hall with its famous Glockenspiel, and the Old City Hall. And visit the main symbol of Bavaria´s capital, the Cathedral of Our Dear Lady with its two prominent towers.
Munich Residence and Hofgarten:
Feel like a royalty at the palace of the Bavarian monarchy, the House of Wittelsbach. It includes theatres, ceremonial halls, a Byzantine Church and ten courtyards. It borders on the Hofgarten, the Court Garden that was built in Renaissance style during the 17th century.
State Opera and Maximilianstrasse:
Feel the cultural heartbeat of the city: the Bavarian State Opera, built in Neo-Greek architecture, is located centrally in the National Theatre. The famous Maximilianstrasse starts from this Opera House, which is an exclusive avenue known for its luxury boutiques and galleries.
Viktualienmarkt and Hofbräuhaus Lederhosen, Dirndl, beer & pretzel: Experience traditions at the farmer’s market. The Viktualien- markt is a magnet for gourmets with its 140 stands, beer gardens and restaurants. The Hofbräuhaus am Platzl, originally built in 1589, is Munich’s most famous beer hall.
City Squares and Gates:
City planning at its best: Munich’s center is surrounded by prominent squares and city gates – Isartor, Sendlingertor and Karlstor at Stachus. An additional highlight is Odeonsplatz with the Feldherrnhalle and Theatiner Church that is situated near to the impressive Victory Gate.
Angel of Peace and Maximilianeum Feel protected by this 6-meter-high majestic angel statue located next to the Isar river at a point de vue of the famous Prinzregentenstraße. This golden angel guards the city on a 38 meters high column. Located nearby is the neo-gothic Maximilianeum, home of the Bavarian Landtag.
BMW World and BMW Museum

Olympic Park Munich
Olympic magnitude at its best: This extensive park was constructed for the 1972 Summer Olympics. The site serves as a venue for cultural, social and sporting events. An additional landmark is the Olympic tower. It reaches a height of 291 meters and it carries a revolving restaurant at the top.
