Explore the labyrinth of stalls selling a myriad of exotic goods, exquisite fabrics, as well as rare and unusual souvenirs. We will be on the lookout for an elderly woman with a push-cart, in order to sample her legendary Ma Chi, a traditional dish of sticky glutinous rice with peanuts. Among other local delicacies, try one of the crispy sweet potato balls that are so popular with the kids of Kuala Lumpur.
Immerse yourself in the customs and beliefs of the Chinese and Indian immigrants who make up part of the vibrant multi-ethnic culture of Malaysia by visiting the impressive Guan Di Temple (a Taoist temple) as well as the Sri Maha Mariamman temple, the oldest Hindu temple in Kuala Lumpur.
