Private round-trip transport and entrance fees are included.
Pickups start at 8:30. Pickups available for all hotels/apartments in greater Reykjavik or other locations between Reykjavik and Hvolsvöllur.
We will begin the driving along highway 1 through Hveragerði and Selfoss towards the South Coast.
The first stop is at the base of that volcano with the "unpronouncable" name (Eyjafjallajökull) that brough most of Europes airtraffic to a standstill in 2010. There we will visit a photogenic waterfall featured in one of the pictures above called Seljalandsfoss.
From there your guide will take you to some other less known waterfalls and "caves" depending on the season and weather conditions.
The second official stop is Skóagoss waterfall, yet another big and photogenic waterfall also featured in the pictures above.
Third stop is Sólheimajökull glacier, a glacier where you can see clearly how fast our glaciers are retreating.
To top the day off we'll end with a visit to Black Sand beaches (Dyrhólaey) and Reynisfjara. if luck is on our side, we just might see some Puffins (June - September).
In short, the South Coast is truly spectacular.
