Enjoy an authentic Italian food experience in the home of a local chef who penned the cookbook ‘Tiramisu Amore Mio.’ In the chef’s own home, which is just minutes from Florence's Ponte Vecchio, you’ll take part in a hands-on cooking class to create three different versions of the beloved Italian dessert tiramisu. This small-group experience, with just 12 people, also includes a Tuscan lunch and access to online recipes.
Start your cooking experience in the heart of Florence, close to the Ponte Vecchio and Boboli Gardens. In the chef’s air-conditioned home, you’ll sit down with your group to savor a true Tuscan lunch: fresh, seasonal, and local. Dishes might include focaccia with olive oil and local cheese (pecorino or stracchino), served alongside roasted vegetables and a typically creamy risotto — all organic, of course.
After lunch, you’ll try three different kinds of tiramisu and chat with your host about the renowned Italian dessert. Watch a short cooking demonstration then have a go at making it on your own under the careful eye of your chef.
Before you leave, you’ll receive an online link to access the recipes back at home.
