In the history of cinema there is a child hero's beloved wooden sleigh, which ends up after years in the flames of a stove. In the history of the automobile, another sled, a miniature and silver one, is also inspired by the key character, but which will end up in a museum's showcase, together with many memoires. Those of Leonardo Fioravanti, the engineer "with the red pencil", have spent half a century in the boardroom. Fioravanti had designed for the Pininfarina at least six Ferrari sportscars that have gone down in history: the Daytona is considered an absolute masterpiece, and the 308 which doubled one of the model's sales. And then he "handled" many others from the directorate's desk. This exhibition tells of a fortunate life, consecrated to the automobile: from the designs of the high schools to university research, and from the first interviews in Pininfarina to the recent projects of the Fioravanti Srl.
