Hiking the Pitons is one of the top things to do in the Caribbean as an adventurer. Before reaching the mountain, you'll get to pass through towns and villages; one of them being 200 year old town! The hike is a moderate to strenuous one that lasts about 4 hours which gives an opportunity to see the island from a bird's eye view.
The group will get picked up from respective hotels between the hours of 6:30am and 7:15am. Enjoy the drive along the West coast, passing through two small fishing villages and one town. Stop at various scenic points on the island along the way are made. Upon arrival at mountain's foot (600 feet above see level), the group will be briefed by a tour guide. The climb up the mountain has four stops, each which takes approximately 30 minutes, giving a total of two hours to climb up and two hours down (4 hours of total climb time). From the mountain, go to a small beach located at the mouth of the volcano. From the beach, everyone is taken to a buffet style lunch. Finally, you will be taken back to your hotel or ship.
