Points of view-Tony Cragg

Corso Sebastopoli (Turin)

The work created by Tony Cragg, Liverpool, 1949, at the Olympic Games in Turin in 2006, is made up of three elliptical columns in bronze high between 10 and 12 meters. Their shape allows the Viewer to perceive a dynamism partly configured as consisting of profiles of human faces. The two axes of the ellipses, 90° from each other, allow to each column being watched by two different "points of view".
