Monte Genevris

Via Assietta 13 (Sauze d'Oulx)


The angedras is a mountain in the Cottian Alps high 2,536 m a.s.l. The mountain dominates the town of Sauze d'Oulx.
The Summit is located on the ridge that separates the Susa Valley from the Chisone Valley, in the natural park of the Gran Bosco of Salbertrand.
The monte Genevris is land of winter sports: a ski lift twice the area of Sauze d'Oulx talking back to the slopes.
In summer the peak you can reach by road dell'assietta, connecting Sestriere to the colle delle Finestre, which runs a few metres below the Monte Genevris; at the top there is a table of orientation and the lighthouse of the Alpini.
