The Miradouro das Portas do Sol is one of the most famous sights of Lisbon. From here you can enjoy the most beautiful sunrise and it is for this reason that this terrace is called the Sun Gate.
The view is just a postcard of the city. The view extends over Alfama from St. Vincent Monastery at the National Pantheon and the Church of St. Stephen.
The Miradouro das Portas do Sol is one of those places to be photographed completely if you visit Lisbon. The panoramic tour can then continue with a drink at the tables next to the kiosk, or the coffee shop nearby.
At the center, opposite the Museum of Decorative Arts, it is the statue of St. Vincent (the patron saint of Lisbon), who holds the symbols of the city - a boat with two crows.
