The Museum documents the history of the town of Fiesole and its region. It is connected to the adjoining archaeological area where you can visit the excavations of the theatre, and the Etruscan-Roman temple. The Museum was first housed in the Municipal Palace. He was transferred to its present location in 1914. The current sort dates back to 1981 and has arranged the materials with a marked division into sourced materials of Fiesole and Antiquities. Opening the link step in 1997 between the archaeological museum and the building that houses the Costantini collection has allowed to realize a single Museum in which they found place recent discoveries including a fully reconstructed Lombard's grave.
