The Museum has been set up to document the major importance of agricultural activities in the area of Orbetello with transformations that marked the beginning of the 20th century until the land reform of 50 years. The seat was located in Albinia just in view of the importance that this fraction had in land reform of the Maremma grossetana. The central theme of the Museum is a reconstruction of peasant life from the beginning of the 20th century up to the time when they were made the first agricultural Consortiums, then to the years of land reform with all the social changes that have accompanied. It is therefore aimed at the dissemination of knowledge of the history of land reform with primary reference to Albinia area to the borders with the neighboring municipalities of the territory of Magliano in Toscana and Capalbio, Manciano.
