25 Luglio, (Campiglia Marittima)

The Rocca di Campiglia Marittima dominates the medieval village of the same name and is the oldest, what remains of the stone castle built during the 12th century a.d. by the counts Della Gherardesca. Inside the walls, in an area now in public park, stands the building of the mould, now home to the Museum of the fortress, the ancient cistern, the imposing crenellated wall with double Lancet window of noble building (sec. XI-XV) and the aqueduct of the 30 's of the 20th century. In this building are a series of educational panels that reconstruct the history of the town of Campiglia Marittima between the 12th and 14th centuries AD.
