The MIAAO project, International Museum of applied arts Today is born in 2003 after the success of Craftsman, Metropolitan centenary celebratory event at the international exhibition of Modern Decorative Art in Turin in 1902. The Museum is located in the monumental complex of San Filippo Neri and divided into two galleries, the first gallery, located on the first floor, is called Salazar and was inaugurated in November 2005, houses the Museum's permanent collection. The second tunnel, on the ground floor, said Salcedo, was opened to the public in November 2006, the date that marks the beginning of the exhibition the Museum's regular programming, to hosting temporary exhibitions. The MIAAO is the only hotel in Italy dedicated to these arts of drawing, and his mission is also aimed at enhancing the excellent craftsmanship of the Piedmont region.
