The permanent exhibition is located within the parish of Podgora.Il Village Museum displays photos and items used in the pontina Plain in the period from 1926, immediately preceding the reclamation, until 1944, when the allied landings at Anzio-Nettuno.  Wide space is given to testimony during the reclamation and colonisation.  The Museum also testify that Sessano (ancient name of Borgo Podgora) is the first locality in the Pontine Marshes reclaimed land and was in the first four years the basis of residence of workers of Reclamation Consortium of Piscinara.
The Museum was stablished in 1978.
