The Museum is housed in the old palace, located in the Vital historical center of the village near the near the Palace where Z is housed the Civic Museum of Rende. The Museum houses a permanent collection of about 20 works of Achille Capizzano, from the late 1920s to World War II. Also exposes the work of forty artists of the last forty years of the 20th century with particular reference to the area and southern Calabrian. The Museum acquired the 2004 model of The Children's Memorial Bell Tower, which rises in Bodega Bay, California, created by sculptor Bruce Hasson and dedicated to the little Nicolas Green killed in Calabria in 1994. In 2006 the Museum was donated a large collection of about 100 among paintings, sculptures and graphic works, as well as a thousand books of art, given by the collector Louis cosentino Ladaga. Among the works donated by artists Ladaga: Umberto Mastroianni, Mario Ceroli, Alighiero Boetti, Mario Schifano, Nicola Carrino, Lucio Del Pezzo, and Antonio Corpora, Roberto Crippa, Nino Longobardi, Nicola De Maria, Enzo Esposito, Mario Pani, Ernesto Treccani, Carlo Levi, Antonio paradise. Kept too, in large numbers, the graphic works by: Pablo Picasso, George Braque, Salvador Dalí, Max Ernst, Jean Cocteau, Sonia Delaouney, Giacomo Balla, Massimo Campigli, Lucio Fontana, Alberto Burri, Henry Moore, Antonio Tapies, Pierre Corneille, Graham Sutherland, Sebastian Matta, Pirandello Fasusto, Mario Tozzi, Emilio Greco, Giuseppe Capogrossi, Mimmo Rotella, Christo, Giulio Turcato, Jannis Kounellis, Mimmo Paladino, Hans Richter, Gianni Dova, Valerio Adami , Enrico Baj.
