After a first exhibition held in the premises of Palazzo Pear in 1987, archaeological remains of the town were set up in a permanent exhibition, opened in December 2003 at the headquarters of the local archaeological group in Segromigno in Monte. At the end of August 2009 the exhibition was moved to the Centre of Capannori via Cardinal P.
In 2010 he was born from the collaboration of the municipality of Capannori with the Soprintendenza per i Beni Archeologici della Toscana, Lucca historical Institute, the Capannorese archaeological group the current exhibition, which took the name of places and People of Hauser. The Museum aims to create an exhibition which, from prehistory through the age of metals, up to the middle ages and romanization, the history of our country. All supported by a multimedia room, and the opportunity to visit the depot and the restoration laboratory.
