The palazzo degli Elefanti (formerly palazzo del Senato) is the city of Catania.
The stairway that opens onto the courtyard was added in the 19th century by Stefano Ittar. Inside the Palace there is a quadrangular courtyard with porches on both sides. In the entrance hall of the building are preserved 18th century duecarrozze including a sedan that is used during the celebrations of St Agatha to bring the Mayor to the Church of Sant'Agata alla Fornace for the procession of the day February 3. In the main hall on the first floor are paintings of the painter Giuseppe Sciuti Catania.
