Started in the early 14th century, was the large home of Manfredi Chiaramonte. Today it houses the Rectorate of the University of Palermo.
The Sala Magna, also called the barons, shines wooden ceiling paintings executed between 1377 and 1380.
Steri, prisons remain imprisoned, graffiti precious unique testimony of the suffering endured under the Ancien Régime institution.
Inside the Palace is also houses the famous painting by Guttuso la Vucciria.
