Palazzo dei Diamanti

Corso Ercole I d'Este 21 (Ferrara)

Oggi: Chiuso

Its main feature is the Ashlar-shaped outer spearheads, which give the name to the Palace.

Even the famous candelabra decorations and corner fitomorfe traditionally attributed to Gabriele Frisoni a stonemason originally from Mantua.

Inside, it has a typical Renaissance courtyard with cloister and a marble shaft; the latter is a special feature of the gardens in Ferrara.

The main floor of the Palace houses the national art gallery, with paintings of the fundamental School of Ferrara from the 13th to the 18th century.
