Piazza del Duomo (Prato)


Piazza del Duomo, Prato is due to the presence of the Cathedral of Santo Stefano, the religious heart of the city. The current form was taken around the 14th century. South West corner of the Church was then installed in the fifteenth century the pulpit by Michelozzo and Donatello, from which you can dominate the whole square "L" during public ostensions relic.
The Center now is a fountain called the young fisherman, made inmarmo with marine animals dominated by a piscatoriello sculpture, designed by Mariano Falcini and sculpted by Emanuele Caroni and Ulisse Cambi (1861): PARVEEN have nicknamed Duck fountain for the Swans carved on the edge of the tanks.
