Palazzo Lomellino

The Palace of Podestà or Nicolosio Lomellino is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
It was built between 1559 and Giovanni Battista 1565da Castellodetto "Bergamasco" and daBernardo at the behest of Canton Nicolosio Lomellino, a member of a family in full economic and political rise.
The stuccoes are spread all over the façade and in the Atrium: astri and drapes to hold, on the first floor, trophies; wreaths and masks.
The open courtyard is bordered on either side by the rear wings of the building, while the terraces overlook a magnificent nymphaeum built in the 18th century.
