The Church of sant'ippolito Parish Church of Bardonecchia, in the metropolitan city of Turin.

History and description

Founded as Santa Maria ad Lacum, at the beginning of the second millennium, was the elegant stone Romanesque bell tower that dates back to the 13th century and that, restored and equipped with ornamental copper Spire leans to the building of the current parish church on the South side. The present parish church was built in place of the previous one, which was demolished in the early nineteenth century because it was dangerous, in the years 1827-28, but consecrated only in 1833.
