The building, designed by arch. Anne Maria de Luigi in the 1960s was wanted by sculptor Venturino Venturi for his home and laboratory. At his death in 2002, the building was intended for private museum for the preservation of artworks by the artist left therein. Among the aims of the institution include: teaching, primarily at schools of all levels, the design of cultural events and exhibitions.
The Museum houses the works donated by contemporary artist Valentina Venturi, born in Loro Ciuffenna in 1918. The Museum is featuring a patio where you can enjoy the view of the Ciuffenna and the old water mill still functioning. The municipal seat is also the municipal collection of modern art, including works by Fantuzzi, Bueno, Thirteen, Alinari, Possenti, Villoresi, Guidi, Canning, Cem, etc., from past editions of the prize Naz.
