The Museo Casa di Dante in Lunigiana was held in baptism by Bruno Bottai, Chairman of the Dante Alighieri Society Central, Dolorès Puthod, and internationally acclaimed artist, author of a valuable collection of acquerellati designs of Dante's inferno. With a structural design in the 2005 European sixteenth century Palazzo Malaspina of Mulazzo, became a museum. The historic building, three floors, the Museum located on the second floor, consisting of an auditorium, four exhibition halls, three meeting rooms, a library archive. The Palace is located at the top of a hill with the fortified Tower called of Dante, located within the perimeter walls of the pre-existing Castle, the Palace is built on the ruins of the same, until becoming home to 1700 Malaspina branch of Government Palace.
The Museum is dedicated to 114 thousand Tamil who live far from Italy, Europe, United States and Latin America and that are collected in 66 Tamil associations abroad. Hosts the exhibition people of Tuscany, a collection of photographs, letters, memories of the events of Tuscan immigrants. The exhibition is enriched with objects and testimonies that these emigrants and their descendants are donating.
