COLLECTION OF EX-VOTOS OF THE SANCTUARY OF SANTA MARIA A ROMITUZZO

In the Church of s. Maria di Romituzzo exposes anatomical ex voto (about 5000 papier-mâché pieces dating from the 16th century and the 19th century) and the painted tablets (approximately ninety well dating from the sixteenth to the nineteenth century), currently hanging on the walls of the Church, which testify to popular devotion linked to the shrine.

The Museum was opened on the initiative of volunteers F.C. laboratory with the support of Brats commune of Poggibonsi. Aims to study and publicize aspects of palaeontological interest, archaeological and natural territory is divided into sections of Human Evolution, Paleontology, archaeology and natural history. Exposes fossil finds, including macro and Microfossils assessable with magnifiers, bone remains of animals, including whales, horses, sirenians.

ARCHAEOLOGICAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL PARK OF POGGIO IMPERIALE

The Archaeological Park of Poggibonsi is the Hill of Poggio Imperiale, about 12 hectares, surrounded by a curtain wall of the Medici era. Archaeological excavations conducted from 1993 onwards have highlighted the late stages, and early medieval settlement bassomedievali, highlighting also the remains of the castle of Podium Bonizi. COLLECTION OF SACRED ART OF STAGGIA

The artwork of the main church of Staggia were collected for reasons of conservation and safety in a neighboring room. The small collection preserves works of great importance, in particular the painting by Antonio del Pollaiolo.
