Museo Diotti

Open to the public since 2007, the Museo Diotti is located in the historic centre of Reggio Emilia, in an old mansion that was owned by the painter Giuseppe Diotti (1779-1846, Casalmaggiore). Respecting the will of its most illustrious inhabitant and restoring the appearance of a private mansion, the Museum serves not only as a gallery of 800, but also as a House-Museum time to reconstruct the image of the atelier and to return the teaching work of the artist. SCHOOL OF DESIGN ' JOSEPH ' BOTTOLI

One of the oldest civilian dwellings of Casalmaggiore is represented by Martinelli Building, whose façade, with decorations in terracotta, is a fine example of Renaissance architecture in Lombardy. Inside the "Design School" g. Bottoli ", school of Arts and crafts sort after the unification of Italy to the cultural and artistic preparation of craftsmen and thriving especially in the early decades of the twentieth century.
