The "Civic Art Collection" includes twenty-nine valuable works ranging from the 15th to the 18th century. Museo Civico Archeologico

The Civic Archaeological Museum of Sassoferrato is housed within the Palazzo dei Priori, a building constructed in 1355 following the birth of a free city.
The Museum is accessible from piazza Matteotti, via a double staircase. On the ground floor are located the ticket office, bookshop and illustrating with a reconstructive plastic the "battle of the Nations" held in 295 BC, at the end of the third Samnite war.
