The municipality of Cantiano is honored to have intended a permanent exhibition space to a group of works by the artist Oscar Piattella belonging to the period from 77 to 88. As part of a vast programme of recovery of some old buildings which were opened in both the Archaeological Museum, the Administration has in mind to expand the exhibition with additional works by the master, hoping also to enrich the collection with works by internationally renowned artists, in order to achieve a real Museum of contemporary art

The exhibition retraces the stages of human presence in the territory of Cantiano, the appearance of man on Earth, the protohistoric time, witnessed by some fibulae and bronzes from surface collections and linked to commercial presence and, related to the existence of a previous track frequented the Flaminia consular building. The GeoTerritorial Museum first proposes a presentation explaining the birth and evolution of the planet Earth, followed by a tour which begins with a clear prologue, the stratigraphic sequence typical of the Umbro-Marchigiana area, which is a prelude to the analysis of the rocks which characterise the territory of Cantiano. The explanation is strictly connected to the forms of anthropisation occurring locally through the centuries, showing the use that man has made of the rocks, how this has contributed to shaping the landscape and how it has concretely influenced many of man's settlement act
