The Museum of beekeeping, beekeepers calicesi initiative, is the first established in Liguria. The Museum, housed in the old warehouses of the Castle, some primitive hives are exposed, tools for the collection and processing of honey and educational panels that reproduce some honey extraction operations.
The Small museo Pietro Rosa is located at Calice al Cornoviglio in the province of La Spezia, in the Doria Castle Malaspina chalice, which hosts other cultural centres of the city, including the Gallery David Baca. The Museum was born in the mid-1990s thanks to the sensibility of Mr. Charles D, avid collector of the works of the painter Pietro Rosa (the graces of Porto Venere, 1/1/1923-Calice al Cornoviglio, 1995), and the Mayor of chalices, Flavio Cucco.
