Scaliger Castle

Grotte di Catullo and Archaeological Museum of Sirmione

At the end of the peninsula of Sirmione, in a unique panoramic position, there are the remains of the largest and most luxurious private residence of Northern Italy. Archaeological Museum of Sirmione

The Museum, located at the entrance of the "grotte di Catullo", was opened to the public in 1999 in a newly built building, with the aim of replacing the small antiquarium which collected part of the current collection.
