The walls, mixed stone and brick, which make up the apsidal basin, have in fact hemispherical frescoes of considerable interest. Frescoes in the lower band represent the theory of the Apostles, with a crucifixion.
In the apse, however, appears a benedictory Christ in a mandorla of an intense blue color, surrounded by symbolic images of the four evangelists.
The exact dating of the frescoes still remains a mystery, but could date back to 1400. With an accurate work of architectural restoration and painting restoration, you can return to its former glory this gem stating the history of the country
