MUSEUM CLOSED

As early as 1914 in Klausen was founded a Museum, then enriched over the years. In 1938, under the fascist regime, the collections were transferred to the Museo civico di Bolzano, which was expecting a so-called ' Museum of South Tyrol. Only in 1978 these works could be listed at, where they found their exhibition venue in the former Capuchin monastery. After extensive renovation works, in June 1992 the Closed City Museum was reopened.
