Buonconsiglio Castle is one of the most famous buildings of Trento and one of the greatest monuments in the Trentino Alto Adige. The castle was built for defensive purposes on a rocky hill and is one of the largest fortified buildings in the Alps. Today it houses the Museum of Buonconsiglio Castle.

Torre Civica of Trento, in order, was part of the keep of the Praetorian Palace. Its foundations originate from the remains of Porta eronensis and its existence has been documented since the end of the twelfth century. Styles you notice that was built at least three occasions. The tower is open only by appointment.
On Piazza Duomo a clock characterizes the facade. The tower is 43 meters high and covers 12 floors. From the top you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city of Trento so if you love the panoramic photos, do not miss the chance to visit!

The Palazzo delle Albere hosts section thirty of the Museo d'Arte moderna e contemporanea di Trento e Rovereto (MART). The Museum has a large permanent collection of 19th and early 20th century until World War I (the romantic Francesco Hayez to Futurist Boccioni) and organises many temporary exhibitions.
The Palazzo Pretorio was born as a Bishop's residence until the metù of the 13th century. Located in the charming Piazza Duomo in Trento, together with the civic Tower and the Cathedral of San Virgilio. Currently the Palace houses the prestigious Museo Diocesano Tridentino, in memory of the famous Council.
