Castello del Buonconsiglio

Buonconsiglio Castle is one of the most famous buildings of Trento and one of the greatest monuments in the Trentino Alto Adige. The castle was built for defensive purposes on a rocky hill and is one of the largest fortified buildings in the Alps. Today it houses the Museum of Buonconsiglio Castle.

Science Museum (Muse)

The MuSe of Trento is the Museum of Science. The original building was designed by Italian architect Renzo Piano. In addition to various temporary exhibitions, the MUSE hosts numerous workshops divided into different age groups, with particular attention to families with children. Saint vigil Cathedral

Trento Cathedral is the Cathedral of San Vigilio. Case Cazuffi-Rella

Cazuffi-Rella houses are two adjacent buildings of the XVI century sites in Trento in piazza del Duomo, nr. 10. The façade overlooking the square is adorned with frescoes attributed to Fogolino.
On the second floor of the first House from the left (corner of via Belenzani) you can see the figure of Geryon, the mythological monster with the head of a woman and the body of a snake, one of 10 characters of the labours of Hercules. Follows the chariot of Fortune with Diana that tightens a wheel preceded by two reindeer. Follow the Occasio and Nemesis.

Civic Tower

Torre Civica of Trento, in order, was part of the keep of the Praetorian Palace. Its foundations originate from the remains of Porta eronensis and its existence has been documented since the end of the twelfth century. Styles you notice that was built at least three occasions. The tower is open only by appointment.

The fountain of Neptune is located in piazza Duomo in Trento, where it was customary to install the "machine of fires" for the feast of san Vigilio, and was built by the sculptor Francesco Antonio Giongo di Lavarone between 1767 and 1769.

Praetorian Palace

The Palazzo Pretorio was born as a Bishop's residence until the metù of the 13th century. Located in the charming Piazza Duomo in Trento, together with the civic Tower and the Cathedral of San Virgilio.
