Rock necropolis of Norchia

The Etruscan name of the city is not documented, but should not deviate much from the Orcla, handed down from the early medieval forms. The settlement stood on the via Clodia and occupied a narrow plain at the confluence of the trenches and into the Biedano Acqualta.
