Museum of Volcanology and Park The Museo Vulcanologico is located in the historical city center of San Venanzo, a suggestive burgh in-between the territory of the middle course of the Tiber and Orvieto. The building housing the Museum is an early 19th century edifice adjacent to Villa Faina. Villa Faina Standing in a high position, Villa Faina is inside a vast Public Park in the historical center of San Venanzo. The original nucleus of the Villa is a medieval palace, which was an integral part of the fortified burgh of San Venanzo and already belonged to the Count Faina family in 1830, whose offspring started to buy land and edifices with the aim of realizing a large farm in that period.
