The Museum, inaugurated on May 3, 2002, is housed in the commonly referred to as "the catacombs of San Cono" architecturally connected with the Temple of the same name above and recently restored and recovered from the condition of decay, giving prestige to the entire indisputable urban context.
All the works on display is essentially composed of liturgical furnishings from the old churches of the city and a number of other interesting and heterogeneous pieces collected from various church spheres.
