Roman city of Libarna

The Roman city, which keeps the pre-Roman name, was founded in the 1st century BC in a strategic position, dominating the Valley, in a territory already frequented since Neolithic times (IV-III Millennium BC).
After the construction of the via Postumia (148 BC), the Center received great impetus and reached maximum flowering in the Imperial age (I-II century AD). MODERN ART COLLECTION

The contemporary art collection is annexed to the municipal library "Roberto Allegri", within the public park of Villa Caffarena "Benedicta" boys.
