Our SUP Yoga classes take place in Sunfish Cut, a popular lookout point with a spectacular view. Doing SUP Yoga on the Island is a unique and rare experience. We make the most of such a short summer season by offering 12 sessions from late June to September. Our hope is that you have a spiritual experience every time you get on the water and that you leave feeling refreshed and ready to start your week.
Please arrive changed and ready to go. There are public washroom facilities (red brick building) at the entrance to Wards Beach at the corner of Fifth Street and Lakeshore Ave.
We start by meeting at the Algonquin Bridge where you will meet your guides and learn the basics of SUP. We then embark on a 15 minute paddle to our destination. During this paddle we practice our paddling skills and balance. Upon arrival at our "Aqua Studio" your Yoga Instructor will guide you through a SUP Yoga class. Once we have completed about 45 minutes, we pick up our paddles and meet the sunset around the corner and finish up the experience with play and lots of photos in front of the iconic Toronto skyline.
When we've had our fill of fun and photos, we take a slow and relaxing paddle back to our starting location. The ferry dock is only a short distance. There are also restaurants in the area where you can get some grub and wait for the next ferry.
