Angampora is the 2500 year-old indigenous Sri Lankan Martial Art. Spend a day with the Angampora warriors and familiarize yourself with their daily training routine. Partake in a yoga and meditation session, physical training session and self defense training session and you will be pleased to note that each of the techniques used in these activities are unique to the martial art. The program begins at 9am, which starts with a yoga session, followed by meditation then a self-defense training session. Guests will learn the moves from one of the oldest forms of martial arts in the world and get up close and personal with the only living practitioners of this art today.
After all the physical activity, enjoy a traditional vegetarian Sri Lankan meal. Guests also have the option of participating in a oil massage or pressure point healing treatment (at an additional cost).
