During this 2,5 hour walking tour our aim is to give you a quick impression of the historic center of Amsterdam and it's many scenic sights. In a relatively short time you see many historic monumental buildings, scenic intersections of the canals and Amstel river, a large scenic courtyard, the only real 17th century paintings that you can admire without entering a museum and of course a lot of houseboats and bikes. In order not to exhaust you guys there is usually a break after 1 hour. Tours are private, that means only your group will be served. we don't mix groups. Pick-up place and time are agreed upon with the customers (usually the lobby of your hotel in case you stay in a hotel in the center). Programs and routes can be customized according to your specific interests. In case you are for example specifically interested in the former Jewish neighborhood we can do a tour of that specifically. In case you would like us to pass by The Red Light District or coffeeshops, please indicate so as well. In case you don't have a specific interest we will do the overview/quick impression tour of the historic center. Meals, drinks and admission tickets are not included in the price. Maximum group size is 15 people. Prices are per group. It's possible to include visits to the relatively small art museums like Rembrandt House, the Hermitage Amsterdam, the royal palace or the hidden church as well, as long as it fits in the 2,5 hour timeframe. Of course the admission tickets of these museums are not included, so you guys will have to pay admission fees in case we include one of these museums.
