Begin your tour with a departure by bus at 9am. Your first destination will be the Santo Estevo Monastery. Here, you will visit the the current Parador of Santo Estevo de Ribas de Sil, one of the most important Benedictine monasteries of Galicia. This structure traces its origins all the way back back from the 7th century AD. The tour then continues with a visit to Mirador de Cabezoás, accompanied by amazing views of the Cañones del Sil, the landscape center of Ribeira Sacra. Afterwards, visit a winery located in the heart of the Ribeira Sacra, a place of local wine tradition. Visit one of the facilities within and enjoy a complimentary wine tasting.
Your next stop is the village of Castro Caldelas. Enjoy free time with lunch and visit the local medieval castle. Your last stop is Ourense where you will visit the old town of the main city of Galicia inland. The "City of Water" as its known has a reputation regarding its sheer range of cultural and gastronomic diversity. See the principal squares and the Cathedral. Finally, depart and arrive in Santiago at approx 7:30pm.
