A walk in the city centre an taking a cable railway to the peak of Kasprowy Wierch. If the weather is nice we will have a chance to see some breathtaking views.
Kasprowy Wierch is one of the top favourites with tourists coming to the Polish Tatras. It is possible to reach the peak in a modern cable railway with large windows through which you can admire the amazing mountain vistas. The railway was first created in 1936 and was the first railway of this type in Poland. On the top there is a large terrace from which you will have a chance to see the breathtaking panorama of the Tatras towering over picturesque valleys. There are a number of tourist trails on different levels of difficulty leading from Kasprowy Wierch to the High Tatras and in the direction of the Western Tatras, therefore after reaching the summit you can continue your trek choosing one that best fits your needs. Each of the routes abounds in fabulous landscapes. In winter, Kasprowy Wierch is a real paradise for skiers.
There is also a trip option in which you can spend the whole day in the mountains without a tour of Zakopane. This option includes going up Kasprowy Wierch in the cable railway and walking down one of the routes to Zakopane (e.g. through Gąsienicowa Valley and past the hostel in Murowaniec or through Przełęcz Kondracka and Hala Kondratowa to Kuźnice).
