Pickup from your hotel begins early in the morning. Travel to the trail-head to begin your hike (3.7m) out to the La Casada, a 30-meter waterfall. The first hour of the hike is steep and then becomes flat. The altitude will increase 600 meters. See the ancient Chilean Palm trees that are over 400 years old. Make your way through the rich flora and fauna of this protected UNESCO designated Biosphere Reserve.
Eat a boxed lunch (included) surrounded by this lush mountain setting. Continue your hike (3.7m) back down through the forest and admire the panoramic mountain views, ripe with photo opportunities.
