Your trip starts along the Atlantic Seaboard towards Chapmans Peak Drive via Camps Bay and Hout Bay. After a stop for photos at Chapmans Peak lookout point, the trip continues onwards though Noordhoek, Oceanview, Scarborough & arriving at Cape Point. A stop at Cape Point is not complete without a trip to the lighthouse on the Funicular & a visit to the Cape of Good Hope, the most South-Western point of Africa. After exiting the Cape Point National Park, the ride continues along the False Bay coastline to Boulders Beach, home of the famous land-based colony of African penguins. After enjoying the penguins, you re-board your sidecar and continue to the Constantia Winelands via Simonstown, Fishhoek, Kalk Bay & Boyes Drive. After a brief stop at one of the Constantia wine estates for some wine tasting, you continue through Cape Town's southern suburbs and arrive back in the city.
After collection from your Cape Town City/Waterfront hotel at 9.00am. You will receive a short safety briefing and your driver will assist you in suiting up in all of your safety gear (Helmet, goggles, leather jacket & bandana) for your adventure of a lifetime.
After a few pre-ride photos, your journey commences along the busy Atlantic seaboard, past the expensive properties of Clifton & Bantry Bay and into Maidens Cove for a brief photo stop of the beautiful pristine Camps Bay beach. Re-board the bikes & cruise along the coastal road with the majestic 12 Apostles mountain range on your left & the awesome Atlantic ocean on your right. Continue past the seaside surfing suburb of Llandudno, through the bustling fishing village of Hout Bay, and then head out onto the winding Chapmans Peak Drive, stopping briefly at the lookout post for another photo opportunity of the picturesque Hout Bay harbour. Head over the crest of Chapmans, through the country suburb of Noordhoek, past the smaller outlying suburbs of Sun Valley and onwards to Cape Point. En route you'll be passing through the beautiful fynbos indigenous shrubbery of the Peninsula as well as enjoying the scenic coastal views and delightful little villages of Kommetjie, Misty Cliffs and Scarbourough.
After arriving at Cape Point, the two 'must do's' are a visit to the lighthouse on the funicular as well as visiting the Cape of Good Hope - Africa's most South Western point. After enjoying a sumptuous lunch at the Two Oceans restaurant below the lighthouse, you re-board your bike once again & head towards the Boulders penguin colony, located on the False Bay coastline, a short distance from the naval base of Simonstown. After visiting the penguins, continue along the False Bay Coastline through Simonstown & Glencairn, then head inland over Ou Kaape Weg and into the beautiful Constantia Wine District. After enjoying some wine tasting at one of the many wine estates, you are ready to head back into the city via a quick stop at Rhodes Memorial, arriving back in the city at around 5.00pm.
